34th Annual FIA Expo
Christina McGlosson, Associate Director of the CFTC's Whistleblower Office, spoke on a panel as part of the FIA's 34th Annual Futures and Options Expo. On the panel, Ms. McGlosson joined other enforcement experts to discuss developments in the CFTC, NFA, and exchange enforcement proceedings and investigations.
International Symposium
Christopher Ehrman, Director of the CFTC's Whistleblower Office, presented to fellow regulators on how to build an effective whistleblower program as part of the CFTC’s Symposium for International Market Authorities on Regulation of Derivatives Products, Markets, and Financial Intermediaries. The CFTC’s Office of International Affairs organizes and hosts this event, now in its 26th year.

The CFTC's Whistleblower Office exhibited at the FIA's 12th Annual International Derivatives Expo (IDX 2019) on June 3-5, 2019 in London, England. The conference was attended by clearinghouse leaders, regulators, traders and side buy-side professionals discussing the important political and regulatory topics that are shaping the cleared derivatives markets in Europe and beyond from Brexit to regulatory reform in the United States.

The CFTC's Whistleblower Office exhibited at the 44th Annual FIA International Futures Industry Conference on March 12-14, 2019 in Boca Raton, FL. The conference was attended by members of the global futures, options, and cleared swaps industry in order to discuss the current state of the cleared derivatives ecosystem.

The CFTC's Whistleblower Office exhibited at the 5th Annual FIA-SIFMA Asset Management Derivatives Forum on February 13-15, 2019 in Laguna Beach, CA. The forum was attended by the buy-side and sell-side to examine the latest developments in global derivatives regulation, operations, markets and trading that are affecting the buy-side.

Christopher Ehrman, Director of the CFTC's Whistleblower Office, spoke on a panel as part of the 18th Annual Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund (TAFEF) Conference. On the panel, Mr. Ehrman joined the head of the SEC whistleblower office to discuss developments in the law and what the offices look for in submissions and coordination from whistleblowers.
